Mark Your Calendars for the 2nd Annual DXE Hamfest

Did you have a chance to stop by DX Engineering in Tallmadge, Ohio, for its first Hamfest? If not, it’s not too early to mark your calendars for the second annual DXE Hamfest, August 8, 2020, at the Summit Racing/DX Engineering headquarters.

DX Engineering has announced that next year’s event will be held in conjunction with the ARRL Ohio Section 2020 Convention.

“We’re very excited to have our Hamfest as the site of the ARRL Ohio Section Convention,” said Tim Duffy, K3LR, DX Engineering Chief Operating Officer. “Judging from this year’s response from Hams in Ohio and surrounding states, we’re anticipating another busy day. It was incredible to see so many friends and new faces come out to DX Engineering to celebrate the hobby we love.”

DX Engineering’s first Hamfest, August 10, featured a free flea market, satellite operation demonstrations, giveaways, a Go-Kit contest, appearances by the ARRL and manufacturers, and open-box specials on Amateur Radio equipment. Look for more details about next year’s ARRL-sanctioned Hamfest at and on the DX Engineering Facebook page as they are announced. And check out this video from DXE’s first Hamfest.
