If you like what you see in the catalog, just give DX Engineering a phone call to talk with an experienced customer/technical support specialist (a ham with years of experience) or visit DXEngineering.com for complete specs on the product, an instruction manual, technical articles, and sometimes a demonstration video.

The easiest way to see what’s hot in the catalog is to look for the NEW! logos that accompany the products. There are more than 100 new items inside, so OnAllBands has a lot of ground to cover. Here are three new products to get you started:

Carlson Heavy-Duty 25G Adjustable Wall Bracket

This well-built and good-looking wall bracket clamps 25G series towers onto a solid vertical structure, such as a house wall just below the eaves or a commercial brick wall.

The distance from the house to the wall is adjustable from 8 to 22 inches for hinged towers and from 8 to 36 inches for stationary towers. The house bracket is constructed from high-strength 1/8-inch 5052 aluminum channel and stainless-steel hardware. The unique design of the bracket aligns all forces with the centerline of the concentric U-channels to maximize material strength. It features a wall channel length of 52.5 inches, mounting holes every 8 inches to align both 16-inch and 24-inch stud spacing, three-point connection to the tower, adjustability in 3-inch increments, and included hardware. Simply undo the three tower leg clamps to lower the tower.

How the CHA WARC-D Dipoles Complement the CHA LEFS-4010

  • Enhanced Frequency Coverage: The CHA WARC-D expands the frequency capabilities of the CHA LEFS-4010, ensuring superior performance on the WARC bands.
  • Improved Signal Quality: By using dedicated dipoles for each band, the CHA WARC-D offers optimized signal clarity and reduced noise, significantly enhancing communication efficiency.
  • Flexibility in Operation: The dual input system of the CHA LEFS- 4010 allows for quick switching between end-fed and dipole configurations, offering operators maximum flexibility in various operating conditions.
  • Efficient Band Management: With separate dipoles for 30M, 17M, and 12M, the CHA WARC-D ensures minimal SWR and efficient power usage, improving overall antenna system performance.

About the WARC Bands

WARC stands for World Administrative Radio Conference. In 1979, WARC delegates allocated three narrow sections of the shortwave radio spectrum for use by amateur radio operators—30 meters, 10.100–10.150 MHz; 17 meters, 18.068–18.168 MHz; and 12 meters, 24.890–24.990 MHz. These bands are reserved by international agreement to be free from contesting activities. This ensures that they are quieter and less congested, making them ideal for casual and long-distance communications. They are particularly valuable during periods of high solar activity when propagation conditions are optimal. Read more about the WARC bands in this OnAllBands article.
