Today, we’ll be focusing on the HexTenna Deluxe Multiband Rigid Dipole and Vertical Antenna. This versatile, resonant, legal-limit portable rigid dipole and vertical antenna system covers 40-6M, 2M, 1.25M, and 70cm (1,500W PEP SSB), providing reliable performance across multiple bands whether you’re operating in the field, at home, or during emergency situations.

Additional Information
The HexTenna Deluxe features telescopic whips that can be adjusted for the specific band you are using. These whips are angled to convert the naturally occurring 72-ohm dipole component to 50-ohm impedance. It is not a “no tune all-band antenna.” For instance, when deployed for 20 meters, it has two self-supporting telescopic whips with a total deployed length of approximately 34 feet. The resonance occurs naturally as you adjust the whips for the desired band. Additionally, when deployed on 40 meters, the antenna becomes an M-Dipole with each side measuring 35 feet, 9 inches.
