Now available from DX Engineering, here’s what you can expect from this standout unit:

  • Universal input of 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz
  • Switchable backlighting of separate ampere and voltmeters
  • 30A continuous, 36A peak capability and average efficiency over 89%
  • Output (voltage) ripple noise limited to just 100 mV peak to peak at full load
  • 6.3A, 250 V, 5mm x 20mm time delay fuse

Built-in safety features include overload and short-circuit, output over-voltage, and over-temperature protections. If you’re looking for a good unit for Field Day or other portable operations, the SEC-1235P-M makes a great choice. It’s internally adjustable over the 12.5 to 15.0 VDC range and is capable of operating in ambient temperatures from -20 to +50 degrees C (-4 to +122 degrees F).
