Check Out DX Engineering’s Booth at Hamvention 2019

With Hamvention 2019 just around the corner (May 17-19), operators from around the world are anticipating another exciting three days of immersing themselves in the world’s greatest hobby. Once again, DX Engineering will be there in full force.

If you’ve attended recent Hamventions at the Greene County Fairgrounds and Expo Center in Xenia, Ohio, you’ll know where to find the black-and-red-shirted DX Engineering team—right inside Building #1’s main door in our familiar spot. Expect a warm handshake when you enter and a “73” when you leave.

What can you expect at DX Engineering’s booth this year? Hold on to your hats because we have a lot planned. Here are a few reasons to make us a preferred stop during your Hamvention visit:

New Products—DX Engineering lives up to its name. We employ engineers devoted to finding better ways to operate. As active Hams, they understand the common problems Amateurs face and are constantly working on solutions that make our time on the air more enjoyable and successful. We’ll be unveiling several new DX Engineering products and new gear from some of our top vendors.

Dr. Tamitha Mulligan SkovDr. Skov, WX6SWW, known as “The Space Weather Woman,” will be at DX Engineering’s booth Friday, May 17, from 12:30 to 1:30 for a meet-and-greet with attendees, who can have their photo taken with her. As a credentialed space weather forecaster, Dr. Skov’s timely solar reports and predictions have become essential viewing for Hams seeking an edge during this low sunspot period. Watch a DX Engineering interview with Dr. Skov here.

Meet the Team—Have a question for a DX Engineering technical support specialist? Want to meet the knowledgeable voice on the other end of the line when you call? Now’s your chance. The entire DX Engineering support staff will be available.

“That’s one of our favorite parts of Hamvention—sharing our years of experience about antennas, towers, DXing, contesting, handhelds, the latest rigs, and all the minutiae of Ham Radio,” said Tim Duffy, K3LR, DX Engineering Chief Operating Officer. “We always look forward to seeing our old friends and making some new ones.”
