In June, DX Engineering was excited to announce that it had been named the exclusive distributor in the U.S. and Canada of the Sky Sat Group’s lineup of 4O3A band pass filters, headsets and communication accessories, and station automation device controllers.
DX Engineering has been carrying 4O3A products for a couple of years. This partnership with the Montenegro-based company will ensure that customers in the U.S. and Canada will continue to have a fast and easy way to receive these smartly engineered, well-built, and game-changing devices from 4O3A.
In addition, DX Engineering and FlexRadio now share U.S./Canada distribution rights for 4O3A’s line of Genius devices: the Power Genius XL Amplifier, Tuner Genius XL Antenna Tuners (1 input-3 output model/SO2R model), and Antenna Genius 8×2 Antenna Switch.

Customers can now receive warranty support on 4O3A Genius products from DX Engineering’s qualified service partners in addition to FlexRadio’s current warranty service and technical support.
What’s New from 4O3A (Video)
In the video below, watch DX Engineering CEO Tim Duffy, K3LR, interview noted contester Ranko Boca, 4O3A, who founded the Sky Sat Group in 1991. Named after his call sign, 4O3A Signature is a division of the Sky Sat Group that focuses on creating products which eliminate station complexity, reduce costs, improve operator efficiency, and boost contest scores.
The video covers the origins of Sky Sat (a company that built FM and TV transmitters for two decades before entering the ham radio market) and some innovative station enhancements 4O3A will be launching in the months ahead, including a more powerful amplifier based off the Power Genius PGXL platform.
While Ranko, 4O3A, discusses some very cool upcoming devices in the video, check out this quick rundown of a few 4O3A products available exclusively in the U.S. and Canada through DX Engineering. Many of these items were featured in the 2025 DX Engineering Amateur Radio Products Catalog (request your free copy and view a digital version online here). - High-Power XL Series Band Pass Filters: 160/80/40/30/20/17/15/12/10/6M, 4,500W PEP, fan-cooled, available with either UHF female SO-239 or Type-N coaxial connectors

The 160M and 80M band pass models measure 24.4″ W x 5.9″ H x 5.9″ D (all other models are 4.3″ D). The devices deliver high-power handling capability of up to 4,500W ICAS and high out-of-band rejection, typically >55 dB and sometimes as high as 75 dB on adjacent “contest” bands thanks to their five-pole filtering design.
- 8xAB (eight antennas to two radios) Antenna Switches: These switches integrate eight independent A/B switches into a single compact unit, enabling seamless switching between multiple antennas and radios. They are available with either Type-N or SO-239 Female connector.

- Antenna Genius 8×1 Smart Antenna Switch: This device connects up to eight antennas to a single radio with seamless control and automation. Engineered for reliability and flexibility, it can be easily integrated into both local and remote station installations. The switch supports power handling up to 3,000W at 1.5:1 VSWR CCS (e.g., Digital modes) duty cycle for five minutes, making them suitable for demanding digital modes like RTTY and FT8.

- 1A2R (one amplifier/two radios) Radio Switches: The 1A2R allows a single amplifier to be safely shared between two radios, making it an ideal solution for SO2R contesting or multi-radio station setups. It uses a “first PTT wins” logic, ensuring that only one radio can access the amplifier at a time, preventing signal conflicts and potential equipment damage.

- RS3000 2×2 Reversible Coaxial Crossover RF Switches: These switches let you instantly swap antennas and amplifiers between two radios—ideal for SO2R, Multi-Single, or Multi-Two contest configurations. Switching is done when a DC voltage of 12 volts is applied or with the push of a button. Operators can dynamically reassign the best antenna and amplifier setup to the radio that needs it most—perfect for chasing multipliers or breaking pileups when the in-band station needs more firepower. They are available with either Type-N Female or SO-239 connector.

Other 4O3A products include the A/B Antenna Switch Relay, Band Data to BCD Decoder, and S8 Antenna Genius Manual Controller.
