As DX Engineering celebrates 25 years of service to the amateur radio community, OnAllBands will be showcasing the company’s team of product developers and engineers—hams like you who are always looking for ways to smartly upgrade your stations, operate with greater efficiency, and have more fun on the air.
DXE’s ability to design, test, and manufacturer its own branded products—from advanced thrust bearings to its heavy-duty rotator— is one of the traits that makes the company unique among amateur radio retailers. It’s another reason hams worldwide rely on DX Engineering for gear they know is built to perform…and outlast the competition.

Watch DX Engineering CEO Tim Duffy, K3LR, interview Cory Gibson, W3JL, DX Engineering senior engineering and production manager, about new DX Engineering products including high-visibility orange RG-8X and RG-174 coaxial cable assemblies, USB Isolator/Surge Protector, Window Feed-Through Panel, and the 1,500W Dry Dummy Load.
Today OnAllBands will be highlighting the DX Engineering Window Feed-Through Panel.

Designed for easy windowsill mounting, the panel provides a weatherproof solution for feeding up to five coaxial cables with PL-259 connectors. Additionally, it allows you to connect a ground cable or copper strap without drilling or cutting through walls.
Aluminum plates on both sides of the feed-through panel bond all five coax shields together, and the stainless steel ground post brings your outdoor ground connection inside. Built using high-quality 0.688-inch-thick cedar wood, the panel has excellent insulating properties. Users cut the 48″ x 3.5″ panel to fit. It is naturally resistant to rot, decay and insects, providing a maintenance-free weather barrier. The panel is also free of pitch and resin so it can accept a wide range of finishes, or it can be left in its natural finish.

The DX Engineering Window Feed-Through Panel also comes with five vinyl caps for the SO-239 connectors and a 10-foot roll of black rubber foam (3/4″ wide x 5/16″ thick) self-stick weatherstripping.
